In spite of our gardens having been battered by heavy rain and winds, members managed to stage an attractive competition.

The flower classes provided welcome splashes of colour and brightness on a dull autumn evening.
The vases of mixed flowers from members own gardens were particularly impressive.
The quality of the Autumn Flower Arrangements also deserves special mention. It is a pity we don’t have any photo of them.

Over the whole Competition, Mike Kingsford and Roger Hart tied on the same number of points, with the latter being placed first on account of his larger number of first prizes.
