A good turn-out of 58 entries gave this year’s judge Julia Parker, some difficult decisions to make.

In spite of some very wet and cold weather preceding the event, the exhibits were of a good quality. The members who came for the evening talk, chatted and enjoyed the refreshments provided, whilst the judging took place.

The wider spread of prizes meant that Lesley West was able to gain maximum points and take the overall winner’s spot (the competitor with the most points across all classes). Mike Kingsford being nudged into second place ahead of Ali Butcher in third.
